We are a busy and friendly salon with two locations in Blackwood and Westfield Marion and having been trading in the Blackwood area for 27 years. We use dermalogica and md formulations, meeting standards of excellence within the industry. We are the only two beauty salons in South Australia awarded with VIP dermalogica Status.

We perform all areas of beauty therapy, including:

• Dermalogica Facials
• Body scrubs and wraps
• Waxing
• Brazilian waxing
• Manicures
• Pedicures
• Paraffin Treatments
• Spray tanning
• Universal contour wrap
• Body massage
• Glycolic peels
• Microdermabrasion
• Oxygen Therapy
• Skin care consultations
• Ear Candeling
• IPL hair removal
• IPL Photorejuvenation
• Eyelash Tinting
• Eyelash Extensions

Just to name a few!

The successful candidate is expected to be a fully qualified beauty therapist, proficient in at least most of the areas above.(waxing, manicures, pedicures, massage, eyelash tinting and facials are essential).

We are looking for someone with at least 1 years experience within a salon environment as you will be expected to hit the ground running and be expected to perform all beauty services on offer at our salons, and also would prefer someone who has transport as you will be expected to work at both salons if needed and to work one late night and Saturdays or Sundays.

PERSONALITY PLUS, as well as good quality treatments will be looked at, and a test of your treatments will be performed at the interview, waxing technique and facial/massage skills. We have a strong and loyal clientele who expect a certain standard in their therapists.

You will be expected to be a team player, and to integrate and work well with 10 other friendly staff members.

You will be expected to attend regular training sessions to improve your standards in the industry.

After being provided with all the training needed, as a beauty therapist you will also be expected to recommend and prescribe products and rebook your clientele for regular treatments.

We are definitely looking for a “stayer” – someone who is committed can can be nututred and grow with the salon, with a potential for management positions – we are not looking for a “fly-by-nighter”.

We are looking for casual and part time positions. Hours 15-25 a week, there may be a possibility of full time positions with staff members who are good performers and want a career in the beauty industry not just a job.
